Manager, Group Administration

At Equitable, we're seeking an experienced Manager, Group Administration to join our team. As a key member of our Group Claims department, you'll be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Group Benefits Administration professionals in delivering high-quality service to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve process effectiveness and reduce unit costs.
  • Oversee the administration of our myFlex product and ensure it continues to evolve in line with customer needs and expectations.
  • Prepare and manage department budgets to meet service deliverables.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and external policies, including privacy legislation and employment laws.
  • Recruit and develop a professional team capable of providing consistently high levels of quality service.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant management experience in a service-related field.
  • Sound understanding of insurance principles and group contracts.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong people management abilities, skilled in mentoring and coaching staff in a highly demanding environment.
