We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Count Team as a part-time Count Team PT AJX-PCK at our Pickering Casino Resort and Casino Ajax location.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while collecting cash boxes from slot machines and table games on the gaming floor. They will process funds and vouchers collected in the count room in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedure. This role requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect cash boxes from slot machines and table games on the gaming floor
  • Process funds and vouchers collected in the count room
  • Transfer funds from the count room to the main bank once balanced
  • Perform duties in a safe manner and report any potential safety hazards to management staff
  • Comply with our Service Operating Procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the count room operation
Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma
  • One or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash (preferably large volumes)
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position that requires working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a back office environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time.
