Job SummaryWe are looking for an Internal Insurance Wholesaler to join our team. As an Internal Insurance Wholesaler, you will work with peers and External Wholesalers to handle a geographical sales region. Your primary goal will be to evolve existing advisor relationships and encourage new ones, always promoting client-centric solutions that increase individual life & living benefit insurance sales at Manulife.
Key Responsibilities- Advisor Support: Using your outstanding communication skills to proactively interact with advisors daily, supporting key advisors and partnering with them to uncover sales opportunities.
- Task Management: Handling and coordinating your daily tasks effectively to achieve efficiency metrics in a way that best supports advisors and the region.
- Incoming Inquiries: Handling incoming advisor inquiries (case consultations, illustration support, product queries, and training, etc.).
- Proactive Sales Opportunities: Using peers, external wholesalers, tools & resources, data & analytics, etc. to investigate proactive sales opportunities that are formalized and driven via effective business planning (60-day cycles).
- Advisor Profiles: Using Salesforce.com to build and maintain advisor profiles and data on current and proposed activity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with peers from other teams, departments, and territories to share business leads and ideas.

- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in insurance or sales.
- Language Skills: Bilingual and fluent in English and Mandarin is a requirement.
- LLQP Designation: LLQP designation preferred (or in process).
- Education: College or University degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including intermediate level of experience using Excel.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Organizational Skills: Well-organized, self-starter with high energy and creativity.
- Innovation: Innovative marketing and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration: Excels in a collaborative and ambitious environment with a strong desire to win.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
