Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor - Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at SUPER-SAVE GAS. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working effectively
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our store is open and operating at all times
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to our customers
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that our store is clean and well-maintained

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Work under pressure and attention to detail required
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
