About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic iForms team at Quadient. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable software systems for the iForms platform and integrating it with the larger Quadient software platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Own, design, and develop software systems that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.
  2. Project Management: Lead the technical direction and implementation of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  4. Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to our development teams, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  5. Best Practices: Ensure that our development teams follow best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
  6. Performance Optimization: Optimize and enhance application performance, security, and scalability.
  7. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
  8. Emerging Technologies: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our platform remains innovative and competitive.
  9. Documentation: Document design decisions, system designs, and technical specifications.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 8-10 years of experience in software development designing and creating web applications.
  2. Proven Track Record: Proven experience as a Staff Software Engineer or similar role.
  3. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with cloud-based technologies, particularly Kubernetes, AWS/EKS, and frameworks like Angular and Vue.
  4. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to participate at a leadership level to improve our development practices and software platform.
  5. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
