We are seeking a skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic iForms team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable software systems for the iForms platform and integrating it with our larger software platform. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be essential in driving the technical direction and implementation of projects and domains, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.

Your Role in Our Future

  1. Design and develop scalable software systems for the iForms platform and integrate it with our larger software platform.
  2. Lead the technical direction and implementation of projects and domains, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to our development teams, ensuring that you lead by example and provide opportunities for team development and growth.
  5. Ensure the use of best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
  6. Optimize and enhance application performance, security, and scalability.
  7. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
  8. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the iForms platform remains innovative and competitive.
  9. Document design decisions, system designs, and technical specifications.

Your Profile

  1. 8-10 years of experience in software development designing and creating web applications.
  2. Proven experience as a Staff Software Engineer or similar role.
  3. Experience with frameworks like Angular and Vue and runtime environments like Node.js.
  4. Extensive experience with cloud-based technologies, particularly Kubernetes, AWS/EKS.
  5. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Ability to diagnose software and team operational issues and work with the leadership team to implement process improvements.
  8. A willingness to participate at a leadership level to improve the iForms and larger Quadient development practices and software platform.
  9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  10. Experience with both back-end and front-end development is preferred.
  11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
