Key Responsibilities

As a Risk Management and Insurance Analyst, you will:

  • Assist in the design, implementation, revision, and approval of contract language related to insurance and indemnity for Bombardier Aerospace and its divisions worldwide
  • Train, develop, and integrate newly hired personnel in Contract, Supply, and Procurement staff at BA worldwide on the integration and application of base contract insurance and indemnity language
  • Design, negotiate, and manage insurance programs related to the Corporation's construction projects
  • Participate in the identification, quantification, and evaluation of the Corporation's material risks incurred during its operations
  • Follow renewal processes, timelines, and critical paths with external suppliers
  • Participate in market submissions, gathering and analyzing underwriting data, and communicating with Groups/Divisions
  • Review and follow up on Renewal program documentation
  • Premium allocation, collection, and accounting charge back
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or insurance and risk management
  • A designation in insurance or risk management, such as CIP, CRM, FRM, or C.A.Ass.
  • Five to eight years of experience in a field related to the insurance/risk management industry, preferably in a global organization or insurance company
  • A good sense of planning, organization, and work rigor, as well as a high concern for excellence and quality of work
  • Motivation, customer service orientation, and excellent interpersonal relationships
  • The ability to respond quickly and efficiently to last-minute requests and respect deadlines
  • Diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion
  • Team spirit and collaboration
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with Power BI as an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English
