Job Summary:
The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our Emergency Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of the People Services team schedule, ensuring consistent orientations and trainings, and supporting the setup and daily refresh of the welcome area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate workforce schedules, including reflecting days off, sick time, and site changes.
- Meet and welcome new and returning workers, verifying ID and scheduling orientations.
- Support internal inquiries from CRC personnel and partners, directing inquiries to appropriate resources as needed.
- Observe and educate on routine precautions to ensure occupational health and safety standards.
- Contribute to the recruitment and engagement of PS Emergency Operations team members.
Requirements:
- Diploma or training in Human Resources Management, Volunteer Management, or related discipline.
- One or more years of experience in Human Resources or business administration.
- Fluency in French and English is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office and Sharepoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with flexibility to work non-traditional hours.
Working Conditions:
- Some work is performed in a virtual office environment, requiring reliable access to a private workspace and computer.
