Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Saskatchewan Blue Cross. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of our Total Rewards programs.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze compensation and total rewards programs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate and manage employee leave programs, including leave options and application processes.
- Plan and execute wellness activities, initiatives, and programs to promote a holistic wellness focus.
- Provide support and coverage for the Payroll & Benefits Advisor as required.
- Prepare insights and analytics related to human resources metrics and measures.
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e. Human Resources, Business), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3+ years of directly related experience within a Human Resources role, preferably in total rewards.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and HRIS systems.
- Excellent analytical and data mining capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
