Human Resources Specialist

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc./EGADZ is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our policies and procedures comply with standard legal and regulatory practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
- Support the Executive Director, Programs Manager, Coordinators, Supervisors, and Youth workers in their roles, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies to mitigate recruitment and retention issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and MS Office.
- Knowledge and experience with the full cycle of recruitment, trends, and issues.
- Experience with successful coaching and problem-solving techniques in the workplace.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
