Fleet Technician Position

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Coca-Cola Canada. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our company fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel tractor and trailer units
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various vehicle systems, including engines, electrical systems, and airbrake systems
- Conduct safety inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations
- Respond to service calls and transport vehicles as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and optimize vehicle uptime
- Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and expertise
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of experience as a mechanic preferred
- Current 310T license and Class 1 Driver's license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven experience with light and heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including gasoline, diesel, and propane engines
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
