Job Summary:

As a Heavy Vehicle Technician Assistant at Fleet Care Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of skilled technicians in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Technicians: Provide assistance to experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating parts, cleaning equipment, and moving tools.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Safely signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning machines, equipment, and immediate work areas.
  • Support Team Members: Collaborate with tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing support and assistance where needed.


Work Environment:


  • Location: Our workshop is located in a secure facility, offering a stable and controlled work environment.
  • Hours: Full-time position, approximately 35-40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.


Requirements:


  1. No Degree Required: We welcome candidates with no degree, certificate, or diploma, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
  2. Train-to-Skill: With on-the-job training, you'll gain the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this position.
  3. Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in an outdoor setting.


Salary and Benefits:
