Job Summary:
D & L Engineering Sales Limited is a leading provider of fire safety solutions in the region. We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and verify fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with fire alarm systems.
- Complete site inspection and verification reports in a timely manner.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call emergency response service.
- Participate in the Canadian Fire Alarm Association technician program.
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with CAN/ULC standards for fire alarm systems.
- Follow and participate in safety and ISO quality standards.
- Travel within the region as required.
Requirements:
- Certified electronics technician or equivalent experience.
- Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) registration would be an asset.
- Proficient with computers and various software applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety safe work practices.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Criminal background check required.
- Ability to attain Security Clearance.
