Job Summary:

D & L Engineering Sales Limited is a leading provider of fire safety solutions in the region. We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and verify fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent system failures.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with fire alarm systems.
  • Complete site inspection and verification reports in a timely manner.
  • Participate in 24-hour on-call emergency response service.
  • Participate in the Canadian Fire Alarm Association technician program.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with CAN/ULC standards for fire alarm systems.
  • Follow and participate in safety and ISO quality standards.
  • Travel within the region as required.

Requirements:

  • Certified electronics technician or equivalent experience.
  • Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) registration would be an asset.
  • Proficient with computers and various software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety safe work practices.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • Ability to attain Security Clearance.
