Job Title: Leisure Manager

LUG Sports Group Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leisure Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Leisure Manager will be responsible for developing and managing programs and services, providing technical and professional advice, and developing policies and procedures to implement programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage programs and services to meet the needs of our community
  • Provide technical and professional advice to staff and stakeholders
  • Develop policies and procedures to implement programs and services
  • Recruit and manage professional coaches and athletes
  • Organize and administer national and provincial programs (training, coaching or officiating)
  • Manage the daily operations of a sport or recreational organization
  • Direct fundraising drives and arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations
  • Negotiate business contracts and manage budgets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Work Environment

The Leisure Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and tight deadlines. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
