Job Summary

LUG Sports Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Leisure Manager to lead our programs and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing programs, providing technical and professional advice, and directing fundraising drives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage programs and services to meet the needs of our members and clients.
  • Provide technical and professional advice to stakeholders, including coaches, athletes, and other staff members.
  • Develop policies and procedures to implement programs and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit and manage professional coaches and athletes to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Organize and administer national and provincial programs, including training, coaching, and officiating.
  • Manage the daily operations of our sport or recreational organization, including budgeting and financial management.
  • Direct fundraising drives to secure sponsorships and donations from public and private organizations.
  • Negotiate business contracts with suppliers and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as recreation, sports management, or business.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of work.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality programs and services. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional overtime required to meet deadlines.
