We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Lead to join our team at Church's Chicken. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Oversee the preparation and assembly of food trays, ensuring they meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure essential ingredients and supplies to maintain inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Analyze expenses and forecast revenue to create accurate budget projections.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Compile detailed summaries of food orders to inform menu planning and inventory management decisions.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, working closely with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and quality products.
