Job Title: Mechanic Repairer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Repairer to join our team at WJ Groundwater Canada Ltd. As a Mechanic Repairer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including track or truck-mounted rotary drilling machines, drills, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform other routine maintenance
  • Oversee safety of operations
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in heavy equipment maintenance technology/technician
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
