About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counselling Therapist to join our team at SAGE Counselling Services. As a Counselling Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality counselling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Assessment and Counselling
    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized counselling plans.
    • Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapies and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Referral
    • Liaise with community agencies and partners to identify additional or alternative services and provide referrals as needed.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field.
    • Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
