About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Clinical Pharmacy Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective drug therapy by participating in and overseeing drug distribution systems, supervising pharmacy support staff, and identifying and resolving drug-related problems.

The successful candidate will provide clinical pharmacy services, including drug regimen review, medication reconciliation, pharmacokinetic monitoring, individual and group patient medication teaching, drug information, and educational programs. You will work closely with the medical team to provide discharge medication calendars and counseling to patients, and make therapeutic recommendations to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of drugs and therapeutics, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to make accurate and timely recommendations regarding safe and cost-effective use of drugs. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or an entry-level Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy from a CCAPP-accredited university is required, and a Pharmacy Residency Program is preferred.
