Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join our team on the Boulder Creek Wind Farm Project near Rockhampton, Queensland.
This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave, external study financial assistance, and corporate discounts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, Implement, and Maintain Health and Safety Plans: Ensure compliance with legislative and company requirements by developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health and safety plans.
- Conduct Site Safety Inspections and Risk Assessments: Identify and mitigate potential hazards by conducting regular site safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Provide Guidance and Training: Foster a proactive safety culture by providing guidance and training to employees and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with Project Teams: Integrate safety into daily operations by collaborating with project managers and site teams.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety Advisor in the construction, civil, or renewable energy industries.
- Australian Workplace Health and Safety Legislation: Strong knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety legislation and standards.
- Formal Qualifications: A Cert IV or higher in Workplace Health & Safety is essential.
- Competitive Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
