Job Title: HR Recruitment Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Recruitment Associate to join our team at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day recruitment operations and contributing to the accomplishment of recruitment goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using BC-CfE's recruitment platforms
  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Filling up vacant positions efficiently
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company's reputation throughout the entire recruitment process

Requirements:

A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or diploma/certificate in Human Resources plus a minimum of three to five (2-5) years of recent, related experience.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude to listen, ascertain the needs of clients, and respond accordingly in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships and effectively work with various stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of standard HR policies and practices, and related employment legislation.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data from a variety of sources, analyze, produce reports and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Able to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload to management concurrent projects and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Work well with frequent interruptions. Commitment to the value of continuous learning and an open curiosity for new ideas and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage others to ensure success in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilize related equipment and computerized software packages such as the Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level.

The BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS is a world-renowned HIV/AIDS Centre with innovative, low-barrier approach to healthcare delivery in clinical practice and an integrated group of research concentrations in Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Trials, Population Health and Epidemiology, Health Economics and Professional Education Programs. A multidisciplinary team of clinicians including Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers and Peers and researchers including Health Economists, Epidemiologists, Clinical Researchers, Statisticians, Programmers, and Data Analysts work collaboratively to improve the health of British Columbians with HIV and communities facing socio-economic barriers in accessing healthcare through the development, ongoing monitoring and dissemination of comprehensive research and treatment programs for HIV and related diseases.
