Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Field Operator to join our Field Operations team in the liquids-rich Kakwa region of northwest Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure gas wells and gathering systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot the safe operation of wells, gathering systems, and compressor stations
  • Work cross-functionally with construction and maintenance teams to optimize production and make changes in the field
  • Assist in pad commissioning and turnaround planning, and perform minor maintenance and plant housekeeping as required
  • Monitor SCADA for any changes and complete production reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Identify hazards and effectively communicate with team members

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of field operating experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience working in a high-pressure gas processing field with a thorough understanding of gas and liquid processes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and knowledge of automated operations systems
  • Excellent communication and analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
