IT Operations Manager

Field Law is a leading law firm with offices in Calgary, Canmore, Edmonton, and Yellowknife. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services and leveraging technology to enhance our operations.
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven IT Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support the firm's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user systems.
- Lead and mentor the IT operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and service request fulfillment to ensure timely and effective IT support.
- Collaborate with the CIO and other stakeholders to align IT operations with the firm's strategic goals.
- Oversee the management of Microsoft ecosystem technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, and security solutions.
- Manage IT budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and security standards.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Proven experience managing processes and projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams and delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
