Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team members, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
- Office Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining records, coordinating travel arrangements, and ordering supplies.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between our team and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and government agencies.
- Project Coordination: Assist with coordinating projects, including setting deadlines, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Ensure that our office is accessible and inclusive for all employees, including those with disabilities, and provide support for employees with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support the integration of newcomers and refugees into our workplace, including providing language training, skills training, and mentorship opportunities.
- Support for Youth: Support the employment of youth, including providing on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching.
- Support for Veterans: Support the employment of veterans, including providing mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: Support the employment of Indigenous people, including providing cultural competency training, mentorship, and coaching.
- Support for Mature Workers: Support the employment of mature workers, including providing phased retirement options, mentorship, and coaching.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Support the employment of visible minorities, including providing mentorship, coaching, and diversity and cross-cultural training.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
