Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost and maintain profits
  • Monitor and improve staff performance to ensure high-quality service
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of success in managing budgets, staff, and customer service
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field an asset
