Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Petro Canada/A&W. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily restaurant operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget and maintain profitability.
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they meet our high standards of customer service and food quality.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities and address customer complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
