Project Director

Comtech Group Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our infrastructure projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of projects and programs across their life cycle, achieving safety, time, cost, quality, and risk goals, and working collaboratively with internal partners to find the optimal balance between construction progress and productivity, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage large-scale capital infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance.
- Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk management processes to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, develop opportunities for higher value or acceleration, and ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to ensure successful project delivery and commercial outcomes.
- Develop and implement quality control checks and participate in quality issue resolution to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, including project management, hands-on oversight, and approvals to execute projects and associated day-to-day operational systems.
- Lead, empower, and develop direct-report leaders/project managers to achieve their agreed-upon performance objectives and provide sign-off on decisions of investment/risk.
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Director with a minimum of 18 years of experience in project management, holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. You should have extensive experience in financial management, procurement, financial planning, overall business planning, estimating, cost, and contingency control, as well as expertise in leading change and ensuring effective risk management analysis, status reporting, and issues management processes.
