**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Incentive Programs Manager to join our team at Sun Life. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's compensation philosophy and programs to drive employee engagement, performance, and retention.

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in designing and managing incentive structures and carried interest administration within a financial organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to develop, implement, and administer innovative solutions that optimize our financial investment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing effective incentive compensation plans that drive performance and align with business objectives. Your strong financial analysis skills, combined with your ability to conduct complex financial modeling and sensitivity analysis, will enable you to make informed decisions that support our overall business objectives.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $185,900 - $278,000, based on your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to salary, this position is eligible for incentive awards based on individual and business performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the design and implementation of performance metrics, goals, and measurement methodologies for incentive plans.
  • Develop compensation financial and data models and tools to provide a platform for decision making on various business issues.
  • Oversee the governance of incentive and wealth plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with HR and Communications teams to develop and implement effective communication and change management plans.
  • Monitor external developments and trends impacting employee reward programs and proactively identify strategies to respond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing incentive, carried interest, and co-investments programs for a mid-size to large organization.
  • Strong understanding of executive compensation principles, long-term incentive plan design, regulatory requirements related to equity-based compensation, accounting standards, and tax implications.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective incentive compensation plans.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to conduct complex financial modeling and sensitivity analysis.
