Job Title: Carpenter

At Classic Touch Interior Renovations Inc., we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating residential structures, including homes, apartments, and condominiums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare building layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential structures and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Handle heavy loads and materials.
Requirements:
  • Accurate and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Permanent full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 38-42 hours per week.
