Vascular Surgeon: Leadership and Clinical Expertise

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Vascular Surgeon to support and lead the organization's desire to become a Level 3 Vascular Centre. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in leadership and growing vascular services, clinical expertise in diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of vascular disease, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member within a group environment.
The ideal candidate will also have a proven attendance record, the ability to perform the essential duties of the job, demonstrate behaviors consistent with Mackenzie Health's Commitment to Caring, and model behavior that is aligned with the values of Mackenzie Health – Excellence, Leadership, Empathy.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in leadership and growing vascular services
- Clinical expertise in diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of vascular disease
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member within a group environment
- Proven attendance record
- Medical degree approved by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) required
- Post Graduate training in Vascular Surgery
- Certification in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCSC)
