Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Oncology and Hematology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in managing complex cases and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert medical oncology and hematology services to patients at Mackenzie Health.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conducting consultations and assessments to diagnose and manage complex cases.
  • Developing and implementing education programs for patients and healthcare staff on topics related to medical oncology and hematology.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A medical degree from a recognized university.
  • Completion of a fellowship program in medical oncology and hematology.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in Ontario.
  • Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in medical oncology and hematology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $250,000 to $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
