As an HR Representative, you will play a vital role in recruiting and onboarding new employees, fostering positive employee relations, and participating in conflict resolution and training. A successful HR Representative ensures compliance with labor laws, assists in performance management, and contributes to maintaining a positive work culture. The role also involves being the safety and security champion of the company, ensuring compliance is upheld.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and onboarding new employees
  • Fostering positive employee relations and contributing to conflict resolution
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Assisting in performance management and employee development
  • Maintaining a positive work culture and ensuring employee well-being

This is an in-person position located at our office in Fredericton, NB. The schedule is Monday to Friday. We are looking for a reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in working with different computer-based programs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant certification in HR is a plus
  • Previous experience in HR and recruiting is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in working with different computer-based programs
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Problemsolving skills and proactive attitude
