Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at CA09 Labatt Brewing Company Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues, including disassembling and reassembling machinery, overhauling gearboxes, and replacing bearings.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance needs, and to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license or equivalent experience.
  • Valid license or experience as a Machinist and/or Welder is an asset.
  • Ability to work shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proven mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to set up and operate all machines common to the trade, and to operate equipment including lathe, vertical mill, band saw, drill press, etc.
  • Welding experience is an asset.
  • Outstanding work ethic, with exceptional discipline, attendance, and safety record.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, and to take initiative to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • High energy and initiative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer familiarity and ability to adapt to new computer programs.
