Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at IMP Group. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a full spectrum of reliability engineering and logistics support analysis solutions for various IMP contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the most effective reliability centered maintenance tools and apply them effectively.
  • Improve and automate existing failure reporting and corrective action systems.
  • Develop and update preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Perform life cycle costs analyses and make recommendations based on availability and long-term cost.
  • Conduct system safety assessments for fleet modification projects.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with demonstrable electrical knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years specializing in reliability engineering.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-directed learner.
  • Professional qualifications such as CMRP or CRE considered an asset.
  • Failure analysis experience considered an asset.
  • Experience in system safety assessments, military or industry standards considered an asset.
  • Experience in using software tools such as Windchill Quality Solutions, Omega PS, and Omega PS Analyzer considered an asset.
  • Military and civil aircraft reliability standards knowledge considered an asset.
  • Commitment to occupational health, safety, and environment policies.
  • Participation in continuous improvement, lean, and 8S activities.
  • Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program, Secret Level II Security Clearance, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
