Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pest Management Specialist to join our team at Maheu&Maheu Inc. As a key member of our pest control team, you will be responsible for providing expert services to residential and commercial clients.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent travel to various locations, including urban and rural areas. You will be working independently, with minimal supervision, to identify signs of infestation, determine treatment requirements, and implement effective solutions. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate effectively with clients, advise them on prevention methods, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of pest infestation
- Determine the type of treatment required and prepare and apply chemical mixtures as needed
- Place and set traps to capture and remove animals, and clean out areas harbouring pests
- Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation and provide guidance on maintenance and upkeep

Credentials and Qualifications

- A valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence is essential for this role
- Previous experience in pest management or a related field is an asset

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

- This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, bending, and handling heavy loads
- You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to various locations

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, disability benefits, and a pension plan.
