As a key member of our Medical Affairs Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the success of our Oncology Medical Affairs initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive Medical Affairs strategy for Oncology, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead a high-performing team of Medical Affairs professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Patient Access, to ensure alignment and effective execution of Medical Affairs initiatives.
- Provide medical and scientific expertise to support new product development efforts and commercial success of locally marketed products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical and scientific advancements in Oncology, and apply this knowledge to inform Medical Affairs strategies and initiatives.
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a life science discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in Medical Affairs.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Knowledge of local and international regulations, including Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and the Innovative Medicines Code of Ethical Practices.
- Experience in Oncology Medical Affairs, with a strong understanding of the therapeutic area.
- Bilingual (English/French) or proficiency in other languages.
