Contract Management Role at Algonquin College

Algonquin College seeks a skilled Contract Management professional to assist in the review and administration of various contracts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contract law and have experience with contract management, negotiation, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with College policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and develop contract templates and contracting practices.
  • Provide contract administration support, including tracking contract status and ensuring timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, College policies, and operational environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field, such as law or business, and a minimum of three years of experience in contract management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of contract law and experience with contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
