Our Technology department is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and supporting technical solutions behind the products and services used by our Wealth Management business. This department consists of 10 organizations, each contributing to the success of our technology.

Department Profile:
Client Channels Technology is a dynamic and fast-paced area within our WM Technology Division. Our charter is to develop client-facing websites and mobile applications. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting external client-facing web and mobile applications in an open and collaborative environment.

Position Description:
This position is for a senior iOS developer on our Wealth Management App in Calgary. You will work 3 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities & Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Swift 6 and familiarity with Obj-C is a plus

• Broad iOS API experience, including but not limited to:

  1. Local Authentication
  2. WebKit
  3. Networking

• Deep knowledge of iOS programming concepts, including but not limited to:

  1. Threading
  2. Crash Analysis

• The latest Xcode, xcodebuild, application loader, and iOS

• Prior experience providing technical guidance to more junior resources, and reviewing pull requests for architectural correctness

Your day-to-day may include some of these tasks:

• Create and enhance features across our flagship and our company apps

• Perform annual maintenance on the codebase and automated build scripts to keep pace with changes to iOS and Xcode

• Maintain certificates and signing, including certificate pinning, provisioning profiles, and push notification certificates

• Monitor production feedback, crash reports, and analytics—and address issues

• Work with infrastructure teams to address proxy, software, and administrative privilege issues that impact iOS development or build processes

This is a full-time position, and the candidate must work on-site. The position is expected to be at least one year in duration. Flexible vacation policy is available with advance notice.

Additional Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Experience developing APIs.

• Awareness of Android app development.

• Strong user experience skills.
