Tom Burnside - Desjardins Insurance Agent is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Customer Service Representative. This role offers a chance to grow with a successful insurance agency and provide exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop leads and schedule appointments to identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Collaborate with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Sales experience, preferably in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- A successful track record of meeting sales goals or quotas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving and a dedication to customer service.
- Ability to multitask and make presentations to potential customers.
- A Property & Casualty license (OTL license preferred, must be able to obtain).
This role is with an independent contractor agent part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The agent's employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
