About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our sales team in Western Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding a team of sales experts in defining unique solutions to maximize our customers' comminution process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting and forecasting on sales results and performance of the region
  • Coordinating customer satisfaction program activities
  • Analyzing results and defining win plans for strategic opportunities
  • Establishing sales objectives by analyzing markets and projecting orders/sales volumes
  • Maintaining sales volume by tracking key performance indicators
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments, trends, and advancements related to sales and marketing
  • Identifying strengths/weaknesses and teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques
  • Maintaining, nurturing, and leveraging relationships with key decision makers
  • Contributing to local strategy, market development, and sales competency development initiatives
  • Mentoring, training, and hiring site account managers as required
  • Undertaking administrative tasks

Requirements

  • 5-10 years' experience in heavy industry sales, preferably with mineral processing equipment and/or related products
  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of comminution and beneficiation processes and applications
  • Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in a customer-focused and service-oriented environment
