Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated First Nations Professional to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a First Nations Professional, you will be responsible for providing financial and investment planning and advice to our customers, while also growing our business through proactive engagement and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively engage with new and existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify immediate/future opportunities.
* Implement business development strategies to acquire new business, including outbound calling campaigns and cultivating branch referrals.
* Engage customers to grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community.
* Identify opportunities during customer conversations to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking products.
* Support the achievement of sales and performance targets.

Qualifications

* Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* CFP designation preferred or one of the following: Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation, Wealth Management Essentials (WME) + Financial Planning Supplement, Professional Financial Planning Course (PFPC), Financial Planning I & II (FP I & II).
* Canadian Securities Course - Licensed to sell mutual funds excluding QC or IQPF in Quebec.
* Advanced working knowledge of financial industry.
* Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
* Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
* Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
* Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.
* Influence skills - In-depth.

Salary and Benefits

$51,800.00 - $96,500.00. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. BMO also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
