Security Officer

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently seeking a Full-time Security Guard in Cornwall, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce regulations of the establishments.
- Visitor Access Control.
- Maintain order, follow, and adhere to post orders.
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- CPR Level C Certified.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Must be available to do shift work: Afternoon, nights & weekends.
- Must drive (own vehicle).
- Good communication.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional work ethics.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
- Excellent Customer Service.
