Job Title: Instructional Design Advisor

As an Instructional Design Advisor at Desjardins, you will play a key role in assisting with needs analysis, training development, logistics, and delivery. Your expertise will be essential in coaching and mentoring employees, advising and assisting clients and partners, and designing and updating training activities and implementing skills development processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough training requirement analysis to identify business issues and develop solutions that maximize productivity and produce anticipated benefits.
  • Perform feasibility studies, determine educational strategies, estimate effort needed, and conduct cost/benefit analyses of development projects.
  • Develop, design, and experiment with skills development and training solutions that meet organizational objectives and business issues.
  • Oversee collaborators and partners involved in the process and present business solutions to managers to gain buy-in and demonstrate added value.
  • Develop and implement transfer strategies for distributors and distribution support.
  • Participate in negotiations of agreements with suppliers or partners and collaborate in the design of agreements for specific programs.
  • Contribute to the development of skills development and training standards and policies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Expert proficiency in both French and English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with bilingual-speaking partners, members, and/or clients
  • Proficiency using Storyline, Camtasia, or video editing software
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office 360 suite

Action-oriented, business insight, customer focus, differences, interpersonal savvy, and nimble learning are essential skills for this role.
