Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
- Determine the appropriateness of drug therapy for patients
- Monitor medication therapy for effectiveness, adverse reactions, and interactions
- Counsel patients regarding prescriptions, OTC products, and health-related issues
- Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge or clinical analysis
- Provide clinical services as appropriate for eligible patients
- Administer injections/immunizations as needed
- Promote health and wellness by educating patients on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
- Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in restricted activities

Education and Experience
