We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Inuvik Regional Hospital, providing culturally sensitive care to residents in our 25-bed Long Term Care unit.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated LPN to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality nursing care to adults and children in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other interventions as required
- Collaborate with RNs and Personal Support Workers to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current LPN certificate and two years recent experience in long-term care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations

- A competitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
