Job Title: Truck Driver - Logistics Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Expert to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The ideal candidate will have a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a strong understanding of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent judgment, organization, and reliability skills

Work Environment: This is an on-the-road job with a 37.5-hour workweek. We provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees. We also offer support for Indigenous people and youths.
