We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Grade 4 Teacher to join our dynamic learning community at Delta Christian School.

About the Role:

  • Teach a structured and engaging curriculum to students in Grade 4
  • Develop and implement lesson plans based on approved curriculum and school district guidelines
  • Provide hands-on, practical learning experiences to promote students' physical, mental, and social development
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, discussing with parents as needed
  • Work collaboratively with educational assistants to modify lessons for students requiring extra support
  • Participate in staff meetings, conferences, and professional development workshops

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education
  • BC Teaching certification or transferable equivalent
  • Experience in K-7 elementary teaching
