Job Title: Inclusion Team Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inclusion Team Teacher to join our team at School District #37 (Delta). As an Inclusion Team Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with unique learning challenges and providing individualized opportunities for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with elementary classroom teachers to support student success in the classroom environment
  • Develop and implement education plans, such as Individual Education Plans and Positive Behavior Support Plans
  • Provide individualized opportunities for students to develop core competencies
  • Act as case manager and coordinate specialized services, such as occupational therapy and physiotherapy
  • Liaise with Learning Services personnel and outside agencies to support students and families

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Master's in the area of Inclusive Education preferred
  • At least three courses in inclusive education in the area of ASD, intellectual disability, and physical impairment
  • Successful elementary level teaching experience
  • Experience using a strength-based approach and a UDL framework to enable student access to curriculum learning
  • Current CPI training an asset
