Job Opportunity at Boundary Bay Montessori School

We are seeking a part-time Lower Elementary Education Assistant to join our team at Boundary Bay Montessori School. Our school is a non-profit organization operated by the Montessori in Delta Society (MIND) and has been providing high-quality education to students since 1990.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to support our Lower Elementary classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Montessori Directresses to provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lower Elementary classroom teacher in implementing the Montessori curriculum
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Montessori experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
