Context for this Opportunity

The Learning & Training team at Prosper Canada is working collaboratively with AFOA Canada on a project to create tailored consumer protection resources for Indigenous individuals and families who receive lump sum payments.

This initiative aims to address the specific needs of these communities by developing a comprehensive financial education resource that takes into account inter-generational trauma, cultural sensitivity, and effective visual communication.

Consultant Requirements
  • Subject matter expertise in Indigenous cultural knowledge and financial wellness to ensure culturally relevant content
  • Expertise in designing, writing, and facilitating materials for Indigenous audiences, considering accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Skill and experience in graphic or media design, with a focus on creating engaging visual elements and layouts that support the educational content
Your Role

As a consultant, you will be responsible for outlining and developing the content for the financial education resource, incorporating input from subject matter experts, key informants, and stakeholders.

You will also layout and produce the final designed resource in two languages (English and French) with visual, graphical, and/or media elements to support the content.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
